I am celebrating my 1 year aniversary here on listia and I am doing it in style. A few months ago I was told by my doctor that I had less than 6 months to live if I did not make some major life changes. Although those changes have been difficult, they have had some wonderful side benefits, weight loss. I am going to auction off my size 24 womens jeans, pants and a denim skirt. This is going to be a huge event and I am so excited to be sharing it with you. Brands include Avenue Venencia, Just My Size, Faded Glory and more.
Also I am encouraging everyone to post a comment about what you have accomplished recently. Go ahead and brag about yourself, you deserve it!!

This auction will start with one item and for every 1000 credits bid I will include another item. Up to 6 free items even shipped for free too. Here is the breakdown so that there is no misunderstanding:
100 - 999 = 1 item
1000 - 1999 = 2 item
2000 - 2999 = 3 item
3000 - 3999 = 4 item
4000 - 4999 = 5 item
5000 and up = 6 item

Enough to fill the large flat rate box.

BUT WAIT...It gets even better... you get to choose which of the items that you want from the pictures listed. Please check the comment boxes for the description of each of the pictures so that you have a great idea of what is possible.

I don't believe we ever stop being "a work in progress" while we're alive. If you're religious, you can think of it this way... when we reach our true potential, our perfection, that is when we "go home" because our work here is done.

Picture 1 & 2 – This is a picture of all 6 items that I have up for auction right now.
Picture 3 – This is a pair of Dark Brown denim wide legged jeans. They are from the Avenue and are Venezia brand. Venezia is my favorite plus size brand. These are very comfortable. Size is 24 and are 98% cotton and 2% spandex.
Picture 4 – This is a pair of Blue denim jeans. This brand is Just My Size Stretch and are also very comfortable. Size is 24W/33 and they are 98% algadon and 2% spandex.
Picture 5 – This is a pair of Black denim jeans with more of a straight leg. The brand is Faded Glory Women Stretch. Again, these fit very nicely and are a nice color of black. Size is 22W (oops they made it into the auction) and are 98% cotton and 2% spandex.
Picture 6 – This is a pair of Gray slacks. The brand is Stretch White Stag Woman and are size 24W average. These are made from 98% cotton and 2% spandex.
Picture 7 – This is a pair of Black slacks/cotton pants. The brand is Venezia (again one of my favorite brands). The size is 24 and it 97% cotton and 3% spandex.
Picture 8-10 – This is a Blue Denim skirt. It is also Venezia and has a slit in the front and a very creative design on the back. It is a size 24 and is 96% cotton and 4% spandex. This skirt is about 36 inches from waist to hem.

Congrats Tweety on your change of life attitude which is what it t6akes ti do what your doing. Take it from a quitter of many things. Still doing my changes a little at a time but I so far in my life I have quit doing drugs 16 yrs ago, quit drinking 10+ years ago, quit smoking 4 yrs ago, and I am now in the process of cutting most of my starch and sugar from my diet (worse quit I've had so far) I've lost 30 pds in 3 months but have been backsliding a bit this last month Stress I guess.

You are doing awesome!!! I cut out sugar and white flour. Did not cut out all starch, but minimized my use of potatoes (almost never), peas (only fresh or frozen - sometimes) and corn (fresh or frozen - almost never). I also quite drinking soda pop mostly. Last week was rough and I slid a bit too. So I understand. But the great thing is you can always pick up where you left off and get going again. :)

I am in the same boat. Just started losing the first of the month and have already lost over 20#. My clothes getting loose so need to find some that fit better. I have cut out all starch, and quit drinking pop (which I lived on). Happy anniversary and good luck!!!!

Congratulations!! I lost alot when I quit drinking my Dr. Pepper. Now I am at a bit of a plateu, but I still feel so much better. Good luck to you and don't give up when the weight slows down, it will pick back up again. :)

It seems as though change is the point to life in general, if we stay the same forever don't we become "stale", congratulations on your decision to change for the better, I too lost nearly 100 lbs about 12 yrs ago and haven't looked back! However the one constant in my life is my husband of 20 yrs (he happens to be wonderful and supportive in all I do in life)! Just remember "Do it Now, because we do not know what tomorrow will bring!"

Tweety, you are amazing! You chose not to crawl in a corner and hide; counting the minutes. Instead you chose a harder path with great rewards. I love the last line of the 1st paragraph in the top section. Too often we forget that we deserve to toot our own horn sometimes. I spent 9 years in an physically abusive marriage because I had been convinced that I was worthless and deserved no better. He told me if I ever left he would kill me. I finally got to the point where even that would have been better than staying. It took years to come to the conclusion that I am of great worth and all those years only made me stronger. We are each a one of a kind limited edition! We deserve respect and to be treated with great care. I am not perfect; I am still a work in progress and I am only moving forward. I am also working on loosing weight for health reasons. It can be a slow process, but I am so worth it! I am about a week away from my 1 month anniversary on Listia.and I am so glad I found it and all of you! Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! (anyone know what cartoon that comes from?)

Long term goal... Doing my best at this motherhood situation I got myself in to... Lol and finishing a semi biographical book based on some crazy things that i lived through.

Yup I fall in to that work-in-progress column. Lifes a marathon not a sprint...it's the only time no one wants to finish first... Lol

Happy Labor Day Weekend!
Didn't plan to hide or anything, but like my refrigerator magnet says "Life is what happens when you are making other plans". Well, this week has been no exception. Normally, there are 3 adults,4 children and a dog who thinks he is a person living here. A week ago we got a visit from an additional 2 adults, 5 children, and 2 extra large dogs. All of whom are here till the middle of next week. So it has been exciting to say the least. And yes, I am still sane!
