Whether you’re looking for a tree or a shrub for your landscape, there is a pomegranate for you. The bright red fruits grow on both traditional trees and also shrub-like trees for more compact areas. The unique appearance of either is sure to add zest to your landscape.

Pomegranates can be used to make healthy drinks, smoothies, desserts, jellies and jams. The fruit ripens in late summer to early fall and can be stored for up to six months if kept at a temperature between 35-40 degrees.

Pomegranate trees thrive in warm, sunny conditions but can be grown in partial shade they are surprisingly drought tolerant and simple to care for. With just the a little fertilization pomegranate tree will flourish.

If you live in northern climates, or outside the recommended zones for growing pomegranates outdoors, you can easily pot them in a container and grow them inside. That way, no matter where you live, you can still enjoy this healthy fruit!
The older the plant the bigger the pomergranates get,

I know they grow gr8 in Texas cuz my mothers house had a huge pomegranate tree like this in her yard. Every year we used to eat that delic fruit up with salt sprinkled on it! Those were gr8 memories of me & my mother! She used to pull off the ones that would split open & get full of bees & drop the seeds around the tree... Next year we used to seek the baby trees coming up. I was only 4 at the time & remember it like yesterday. The tree has since died just like my mother but the memory is embedded in my head of all the beautiful things we did around the yard with all her fruit trees. Thanks 4 reminding me of such a precious memory! God bless you. I'll be trying to win when I get more bid points! Thanks

Do seeds have an expiration date? Say I couldn't use them this summer, could I use them next summer? I might be moving & it may be too late to plant this year.
