Questions & Comments
In 2009 The US Mint issued four different coins to celebrate Abe Lincoln. Many of these coins had error which are very collectible to error fans. Errors might appear on the front or back of the coin. A doubled die error is one in which the coin press struck the coin more than once making an error. In the case of this coin, the error was on the front and appears as chipped letters. You can read all about them at John Wexler's site at doubleddie.com.
