Questions & Comments
i just opened my bank rolls with white gloves on I am amazed I found 22 1909 S VDB in 2 rolls others are vdb and just 1909 all of them look mint perfect no bag marks except for end coins.. contacting grader soon,,, I am glad u had this auction I almost forgot about the rolls i had from GrandPa !!!!
cool my dad had a big coin collection until the rest of us spent it when he went to vietnam. (we were all under 8). would like to get this in his honor. fanned and watching
Very cool! I am broke or I'd bid on it. But I did find this one http://www.listia.com/auction/2364751-1909-vdb-wheat-penny Not trying to reap attention from your auction. This one ends soon so you will still have all the bidders that don't win that one. I will be watching more of your auctions because I am a new collector.
Much success to you love. You deserve it!! I hope you are the winner. Put some cash in your hands and make your beginning stages a huge success!!! I will be listing so cool stuff really soon... Keep your eye open!!! God has been so good to me and I wanna be good to someone else. I want to see everybody make it and win. Be blessed in the mighty name of Jesus!!!
is it the ( S VDB that is the rare one ) and the VDB no mint mark common , I have 2 never opened bank rolls that my grand father gave me when i was a 6yrs old
I have Two of them stored away, But condition and appeal are key factors in acquiring coinage also. So many people think that vdb are not rare. But in this condition they are. You see many culls pennies.; these are common. not this beauty... Can sell at a well known auction for thousands high graded. S minted or not... Do a little research and you will see that collectors have a taste for more appealing coinage because they are becoming very scarce. The 1909 VDB S coins are rare but so is this one. As I mentioned. I have two "s" mints in ms-67+ condition. I have been collecting for years and only collect rare and fabulous coins. I am no fan of ruff coins. I am casting them off and keeping the investment grades for sale to an outright buyer or and auction house. I will keep a few for my kids as an inheritance. I have golden and silver age comics too. Lots of stuff from my passion of collecting. Thank you for the fan!! I will fan you back if i have not already done so!!!
thanks for letting me know about this one... I was just watching the other one... will certainly try for this one now... thanks, good luck and please check out my listings as well... =)
I have two in this condition, but will sell once I get them graded... These will be sold at an auction house or outright. I have A nice collection stored away. My 1909 VDB S coins are fantastic and I only get the best and most eye appealing coins. I loathe cull and beat up coins. This is a beauty!! Someone will be very happy. I am giving away some good money. This penny has sold for thousands in this condition. @ www.ha.com..... Check it out and see how much a 1909 vdb Pennsylvania mint can sell for. Rare coins in this condition will sell to a collector with a taste for quality. not always dates and mints. Eye appeal and luster are also a key factor plus rarity and condition. You would be surprised how some collectors would chose this coin over 1909 vdb s because of the quality and luster. It is a true stunner and I love it!!!
Nice coin, I will be bidding and keeping an eye on this one. Don't think I would spend the money on professional grading, ( around $20.00 for PCGS or NGC ) unless you think they will grade MS 64 or better. just ( my opinion )
Ms 64 or higher are investment grades, but you do what you want with it if you win. I have been collecting for years and love doing it. Some are just in it for the money. But this is a really nice coin for free. I just hope you can appreciate that I am offering a coin I can submit to PCGS myself and reap the return. I have hundreds of mint state coinage. I am just being nice to someone who may want to make some money in the process. I wished someone would have done something like this for me. I would have jumped on it. This coin can easily sale @ a auction house graded MS60+ $1500 and higher as grade gets better. So if you are the winner; that will be totally your decision. But you are appreciated for your participation.
To all qho are bidding and to the winner.... Go to: www.ha.com and consign to auction. I will soon as well. One of my VDB's in this condition sold or $10,000 + go and sign up free and see how coinage sell for high profit gains. Also David Laurence auction house and many third party houses beyond ebay. I have tons of coins to consign. This one will grade really high. And the higher the grade; the more your able to get as a return. Pretty cool!!! And this one is free to you. Make that money!!!!!! Coin is uncleaned or altered. No field issues, rim in tact, wheat ears are crisp, Lincoln ears are visible and clear. No pvc corrosion. bold dies letters are all visible and clear. No issues with this coin. It has appeal. And my guess grade for it will return in a holder with MS65-67 (pcgs) is the best grading company. You get a higher premium for your investment. Membership is from $40-299 and you get to submit the amount of coins according to your membership and after you have used your voucher up to 8 coin submissions; it will be about $30.00 per coin. Jump on this one folks!!! Nobody gives away coins this rare in this condition free!!! rare opportunity. Get it while it is available.
I have two 1909 s vdb coins in this condition not graded yet!! I know they are worth a lot!! I am sending them to pcgs soon with some other coins. I have some scare dated and rare mint coins stored away!!!
