These apply with water like most temporary tattoos.

They do vary in size but the paper backing they are all individually attached too is about 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, so all the tattoos are smaller than these dimensions.

I flipped the image of the tattoos so you could read them better in the second picture.
