Welcome! Thank you for your interest in these military items. They appear to be WWII or even earlier. The round portrait pin is not marked so I don't know if this is a US soldier or not. The nautical USN ships wheel is marked "sterling" and has what looks like dried glue on it. The third item is a gold tone star pin (not sterling) but marked "Act of Congress H.N. United States of America 1 Aug 1947". The fourth item is a cross star pin marked "sterling" and is a faded red, white and blue. Penny not included, to show scale.
