Description

The listing, 100 YEARS+ Eastman Kodak camera!!! has ended.

OMG this beautiful antique piece of the past would be wonderful to own! I'm looking to earn credits for something I have been really wanting here on Listia so I'm willing to part with this. This highly collectible compact camera measures 4 3/4 x 1 x 2 1/2 inches. Last pat. Date is Jan 1913. It has some ware and tare to it (see pics). It comes with its original case but handle is missing. I don’t know if this works but it is a great decor piece. Please don't bid if you're not going to provide me with a Listia verified address or leave feedback. Feedback lets me know that you have received your item and are happy with it. Listia verified address will be the only way you receive this item if you win. Thanks for viewing this auction, happy bidding, and good luck!

Wow it's so cool to try to imagine the sights the lens of this camera has seen. If only it could talk. I love stuff like this. I also like to collect old books. I have a really eerie looking book in my collection from the 1800s you can literally see the life it lived in some of the pages. The paper is so aged and appears to have some kerosene stains. Anyways, this camera is a beauty. I hope you get lots of credits for it, being as though you are going to be sad parting with it.
I know I don't want to part with my books.

Very nice auction and camera you have. I mainly collect Minoltas but got a soft spot for Kodak. I have a Kodak digital I won off of here. I am in my early 40s and can remember when Kodak ruled the world. My first camera I got in the late 70s was a 110 Kodak and I used cube flashes. Some people don't even know what a film camera is now. Some of the commits are funny and I have to scratch my head.

I could only imagine the stories this camera can tell. A lot of Soldiers used these in WWI. Whatever pictures this camera has taken in the past I hope some of them are safe some where. The viewfinder in this camera has seen a lot of history(-:

I still love film, even with all the digital stuff I have, the darkroom is a great place to be! I have been doing film since 1967 and do not see quitting now. I can go in my darkroom and the worlld goes away. Then I get to see the images as they pop off the paper!

Omg that sounds like so much fun. I know that if I got into doing that, I would never quit! :) I've always wanted to take antique photos. But with a real antique camera. There's nothing like it.
