Description

The listing, UNIVERSAL CARD READER USB 2.0 FL-RDR – W/ One Touch Copy Feature has ended.

PACKAGE CONTENTS: Universal Card Reader & USB Extension Cable

Verbatim 15-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Reader - Gently used and in excellent working condition. It was supposed to have a CD-ROM containing software however, it wasn't provided when I purchased this item. It does work with any Operating System as a “Plug -N-Play” Device with instructions on how to manually copy to and from inserted drives included in the quick start guide that I did receive. In the last couple of photos, I have the reader plugged into my Windows 8 OS to show it works perfectly without and then with a card inserted into it.

Card formats supported are as follows:

1. CompactFlash Type I,
2. CompactFlash Type II,
3. Microdrive,
4. Memory Stick Duo,
5. Memory Stick PRO,
6. Memory Stick PRO Duo,
7. Memory Stick MagicGate Duo,
8. SmartMedia Card (SM),
9. Secure Digital (SD) Card,
10. Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC),
11. miniSD Card,
12. microSD,
13. xD-Picture Card,
14. RS-MMC,
&
15. MultiMediaCard (MMC)

I'm also not that great at tech stuff, but I know that you can plug this into your computer by a USB Port and then you can insert different types of Multi - Media Cards into it. It's an all in one. For example, on my laptop , I have a small slot on the side that I can put an SD Card in (i.e. phone memory card). Other than my USB ports, it is the only card reader on my computer. The ALL IN ONE listed above can be plugged in and has the ability to read 15 different types and sizes of Multi-Media cards as compared to just the one size on my laptop...Does that make any sense?? I truly hope it helps...That is about the best info I can provide...Thank you for looking and good luck if you decide to bid...

thank you it makes perfect sense, and does it copy pictures from card and print them or just copies the card to another card?

That, I am not sure of. It does have a copy feature on it, but I have never used it. In the instruction manual that I will be sending with this, it explains how to manually copy files either to or from the drives...
