Good question...I'm going to venture to say that it might. If your computer can charge a device through a USB port, then I don't see why this wouldn't. You might have one device charging at the same time you have three other devices plugged in. I have not opened the package, but it does include a user's manual that would be able to better explain that to you. It does include an A/C wall adapter that somehow allows you to use the device separate from and/or with the computer to increase data transfer speeds. I already had all of my data transfer finished by the time I actually received it, hence it still being brand new and in the package...
