Description

The listing, Indian pottery shard from SC river edge has ended.

a 3000 yr. old Wilmington pottery shard from my collection over many years. It clearly shows the design often made by pressing reeds into the clay...there seems to be an image or lettering of some sort on it too. the rimmed edge denotes it is from some type of bowl. there is a picture of a guide to show you specific ages and type definitions . it is not included in the auction however, only for your information. I have buckets of these and am glad to share some. I find them fascinating.

Used to collect ancient pottery when I lived in anasazi area of Northern Arizona, and it looked like this too. It's funny to see the different areas most of the pottery had a similarity except maybe for the designs. Hope you will put more on as some are really excited about getting it.
