The listing, BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE ONYX & STERLING RING, SIZE 6 has ended.

This ring has a black onyx (I think) stone, measuring 3/4" x 1/4". It is set in sterling, marked with a U that has an arrow going through it besides the word sterling inside. I think it is a size 6, I wear a 7 and it is too tight for me. This ring came from a lot of jewelry that I purchased from an estate sale. The black stone is the only stone in this ring, There is a v-shaped branch-type setting in both sides, very shiny and bright I will ship this one on April 22. If thus is not acceptable, please do nit bid on it, thanks for checking it out.

I have been doing some research on thius item, while I was unable to find the exact ring, I was able to obtain some interesting facts about its manufacturer. First of all the U with an arrow through it means it was made by the Uncas Company of Rhode Island, established in 1911 and is still doing business today. The U hallmark with the arrow running through it was used from 1920-1988. The sterling stamp means it is most likely 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper (most likely), Vintage Uncas rings are getting scarce and often run from $20-$200. I hope this helps.
