yes it does. It is marked with 925 and other symbols. My Mother got this for me in Texas many years ago ...over 30 years ago. They are the Indian symbols, but can't really tell you what they are or what they mean. Sorry. Hope this helps.

I believe it is. I can not guarantee it though. My Mother bought this ring for me over 20 years ago, and it no longer fits me.
