Beautiful Antique letter dated November 5, 1854 from
Philada ? Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is an original not a copy. Beautiful handwriting. Letter is in excellent condition.

Is it a love letter? can you tell what it is about? Im looking for old love letters I love the history people in that era where so deep in there writing and penminship was amazing!

People wrote very beautifully then unlike now, and they did not smudge,, they would have considered smudging rude, also there is a small amount of the wax seal still on this letter

Remember about plastic sleeves, paper and fabric need to breath. The Historical archives in Frankfort, Kentucky recommends binding paper and antique documents and old quilts and fabric in Acid Free Brown paper, that way the items can breath without deteriorating.
