Do you know what material it is such as wood, a glass, plastic, etc.? I had a small box almost like it and put it in a yard sale and it didn't sale then my mother saw it and I got "I like this do you mind if I have it?" and I thought of her when seeing this one of yours

I'm not sure, to be honest. There is some metal on it (the clasp and hinges), but I believe that main material is some sort of glass? Hard to tell... I'm so glad that my auction brought back fond memories for you! I encourage you to watch and bid!
