This is a wooden plaque that was given to someone in the United States Marine Corps, from "The Officers of B Co". I have no history of this item, it was in a box that I bid on at an auction. I am not sure of the purpose this plaque was given, but the quote is "Whip it On". Perhaps there was a whip hanging on the hook that is attached to the plaque. It would really be cool, if I was to find the original sender of this gift...or someone who knows what this plaque was for. It has an official United States Marine Corp medallion on it. The plaque measures 12" x 9" x 3/4". I hope to find a good home for it, because I hate to think that the last episode of this plaque is left in a box at an estate sale.
