So how does this work? You email a CODE, but then what. I eat at a restaurant and when I go to pay the bill, I verbally communicate a.........code.........to the cashier?

No, you go to restaurant.com and put in your zipcode. This will pull up restaurants in your area that have certificates, The 25 dollars goes to buy that online, then you take the certificates to the restaurant.
