This card was never available in packs but only as a promotional card from hobby stores. Design is similar to his 1982 rookie card but issued in 2006.

Does it say "promo" on the back, because this card was a 2006 TOPPS insert as part of its ROOKIE OF THE WEEK set.

Yes it is part of the rookie of the week set but I don't recall then being in packs you got them as giveaways from the hobby dealers. That's how I got mine. Does anyone know if they came in packs also?
