Authentic bags an identification by a metal plate on front. Tag inside. How do you know it is real? If it is not real leather, sorry It probably is a knock off. Do you have the tag or receipt?
There is a metal plate on the front, i have added the picture and it does have a leather tag inside. i'm sure it is real as i bought it at a dolece and gavvanna outlet in virginia.
An authentic Dolce & Gabbana metal oval plate will always use " Dolce & Gabbana" as their exclusive logo when it is shown with D & G. That means your metal tag does not show authenticity of a high end bag, some outlets sell seconds that are not the same quality. Inside the high end bag there will always be a tag with a black printed code in it, the letters are not printed with a smooth type face but one that appears bumpy (large dot pattern creates the code) I'm not sure where you purchased it. Ways keep tags, receipts tucked inside the bag inside zip pocket, it helps if the bag breaks on you or if you resell there will be less questions. Sorry hun. It is a nice bag and if it is leather, I would make sure you show a clear shot of the tag that states it so people know it is. Best of luck Hon!!! Someone should love it ! Again if it is leather it still can be an outlet quality bag, just not the same value of a bag purchased in a high end store.
Thanks for letting me know. it does have a metal tag on it and it is most certainly leather but no number inside the bag. thanks for letting me know. nice purse though. i think i paid over $250 for it
Yes, it is worth much more than the knock offs people try to sell. I always tuck the tag I side the zipper section and the receipt folded up with it. Don't worry, Coach also has outed where they sell their lower level cost lines too. The bottom row of their inside tag can show you by what letter come prior to the style #. I collect a wide variety of vintage and used bags. If you are not sure you can Always check out a bag by googling the serial #, it can tell you a lot. Good luck !! God Bless. I am here if you. Need me.
