fine condition
worth 2 shilling and 6 pence. I lived in England in the 60's and 70's and this money was in my collection :)

Questions & Comments

The Coin displayed is not a half crown as it is 6 pence short. It could be called a Florin if they still called two shillings a Florin at this time but it is definitely not a half crown. Of course you lived in England during the time this coin was minted and I don't mean to question you except that the books I have make a clear distinction between the 1/2 Crown and the Two Shillings. Best of luck with you auction, I will have to check to see if I have this one yet.
