Very Very Rare !! This is a real "Vivid" Peace Beanie.
Go look on ebay etc. You won't find one like this it's a real collector piece!!
Digital cameras do not show colors well the green kids bowl in the sink is flourescent green, the Bear is very vivid (from left to right on body) blue - green - yellow.
It's back is more "Pastel" again it looks a lot lot nicer in person!!
The bum tag without chinese stamp inside, says 1996 but the bear is actually 1998 and possible it has pvc pellets inside (same time), label says pe. It has the correct pushed in look of the face.
It has the mis-spelt "ORIGIINAL" instead of Original in the yellow star on the ear tag, It also has the mis-spelt "Suface Wash" instead of Surface Wash, however..... The small sticker placed over the typo on the back of the ear tag is within the gold rim (Very Rare to see), these bears actually cost TY (Warner) more to make as they had to use tweezers to put the tiny stickers over the typo!! So there really are not many of them!! In fact there are less with the sticker covering the typo than there are without the sticker !!!
After these they changed the label to correct the spelling errors.
All Peace bears are different but this one stands out because of the lack of pink on it's front, go see look compare you'll see ;-) It stood out as new and even better with errors etc. on tags!!
It is 100% real, legit not a rip off and the colors are cool!! Very bright hence the term vivid the face is a definate vivid and look at the UK address in the ear tag!!
I am not going to ask $8,000.00 like some would on ebay! But hey it does have a little crease on the ear tag because it was in a bag with other beanies in a closet apart from that there is no wear no tear no dirt, looks new! I put it next to an "Erin" that are bright green just to show how colors don't come out right (even Erin looks way toned down). It's very "VIVID" The real deal!! Look how deep the colors are in the peace sign embroidery
