Greedy if you ask me! Listia is going DOWNHILL because of greed..causing everything to go up! you cannot sell things for cheap like you used to because in turn, you cannot get nothing, especially gift cards.

I agree, it s crazy , my $100 walmart cards 1 1/2 years ago in Oct 2013 were selling for 130,000.
now that listia wants more credits ,charging 10 % on starting bids - I think that might increase prices more.

Listia informs us that they want to look more like ebay and include a fixed price listing option in addition to a regular auction.
They also want to claim this will benefit the seller and buyer , only listia will benefit because on regular auctions they will be charging a 10 % fee on the starting bid.

They claim by having a fixed price listing this will benefit the seller by allowing them to set a gin only auction without a bidding component
,claiming by having a fixed price only auction you can ensure you will get the exact amount of credits you want for the item.

We already had that option with the regular auction - we could start the starting bid at the minimum amount we were willing to accept for the item
