For those of you can may not be able to find this coin. It is indeed a minted coin and will come under the listing of a 25 New Pence (1977) Silver Jubilee of Reign. There were only four 25 New Pence types minted. They were minted between 1972 - 1981 as promotional items to mark commemorative occasions but were unsuccessful that the Royal Mint did not mint any further. Of course moving from the NEW Pence to the Pence also eliminated the need for a 25 NEW Pence as commemoratives were done on the 50 Pence Coin. Which was more accepted by merchants and the people
