The listing, Military issue l941 New Testament Catholic Version ARMY has ended.

US Government Issue New Testament (Catholic Version) issued to the soldiers during WW ll . This belonged to my step-father who was in that War. Book is in very good condition with no tears....only some age discoloration . The binding is tight with no loose pages. The front page is dated l941 with a message from Pres. Roosevelt. See picture of this page to add. Nice piece of history..great for the collector as a gift.....or keep it for your own collection...Thank you

Awesome piece of Americana history. Just imagine being a young WWII American soldier - Germany has seized much of Europe, and has invaded Russia. America is at the brink of declaring war - December 7th 1941, a date of Inafamy, Japan launches a sneak attack against Pearl Harbor. President Roosevelt declares war. You have a bible in one hand, for eternal glory, and a Gun in the other hand, to protect you in this life.
