The listing, Vintage Russian Matryoshka wood stacking dolls has ended.

This is a beautiful vintage set of 3 stacking dolls. They are beautifully painted and shellaced for a nce hard gloss. There is a piece of paper attached to the bottom with writing on it but I cannot read it. They are in excellent condition. If you have any questions, please ask. lovely piece! The writing is most likely Cyrillic i.e. Russian or Ukrainian, unfortunately I have a hard enough time reading my own english chicken scratch that I can only identify about half of the script here, I will have a friend look at it and see if we can decipher it and translate it for you.
