im getting mixed signals, the listing says iphone 3g, a comment says and u agree its 3gs, the link u posted for manual is the the iphone4, which is it.

As for the comment that says and u say I agree that its a 3GS: The comment states "Nevermind... Just saw in the pic that it is a 3GS. Good luck on the auction!" I responded with a simple thank u referring to the Good Luck.

The link I posted is: http://support.apple.com/manuals/ which is simply APPLE MANUALS! Its up to the consumer to find and locate the appropriate manual. I didn't take the time to do so.

Furthermore, for my fist auction and not being electronic savvy I'm doing the best I can. I've posted pictures and the best description that I felt was appropriate for the item. All I can say is take it or leave it.

(maddog14895) Ok look. I can understand being cautious and not wanting to spend ur credits with something that u aren't sure if it works or not and all I can give u is my word. BUT I'm not a thief and the phone isn't stolen. I've had AT&T as a service provider for approximately 8 years and I don't know anything about locked or unlocked or jail broken or whatever. I was initially having a good time with this site but its comments like that (attacking my character) that is probably going to make this bunch of items my final Listia items up for auction. I’ve "sold" two items already and I haven’t even gotten the credits... I’ve won an auction that I haven’t even received the merchandise. And I’ve had comments that I can’t even believe come from adults. I knew when I put ,my things up for auction that I wasn’t going to make a bundle and I’m surprised that the phone is up to the credits that it is.

I’m not hiding ur comment... although believe me I’d love to... because I have nothing to hide.
I too contacted AT&T (1-800-331-0500) @ 12:44 pm and spoke to Christinia Gilmore. I explained to her ur comment. This is what she told me:
The phone has to be used with AT&T service. It is not jail broken. An d that what she thinks was told to you was “the phone is locked on AT&T network only”

Some of you people have absolutely no manners and need to think before you type. She is obviously taking her time out to answer ALL the questions, even the nonsense questions that need to be blocked and ignored.
@Maddog14895 you are about as smart as a bag of rocks. You need to do a little research before you even open your mouth. You look like you are in your mid 40's, why don't you act like it? "Locked" means used only on AT&T dummy, not stolen. And to the guy with the makeup on his red eyes @thomasrobinson10, you need to stop acting like you work for Listia going around policing every auction like you are an employee of Listia's. "As per Listia rules....blah blah blah," go put in an application or quit acting like you work for them, I really doubt they would hire a guy with too much red mascara on his eyes in the first place.

I agree with most of you. If you're leary of purchasing an auction it's simple. JUST DON'T BID but there is NO reason to accuse her of selling stolen products or just being flat out rude.
That being said I think you should just block that maddog fellow.
I already have an Iphone so i'm not going to bid but I will watch, I will fan you and I think you're running a great auction here.
Good luck and don't let one dingbat drag you down. You see awesome! And yes I agree, you don't look old enough to have teenagers, neither do I but my oldest will be 20 in 2 months.. TWENTY!! ARGH!!!

You are doing fine. I just had a guy accuse me of taking advantage of him. The item was fine when it was sent. He said it was dirty, stained and damaged. He also sent me a nasty email demanding credit refund. It was very belittleing experience. I refunded him and told him to keep the item for all of his supposed troubles. Keep your head up and don't worry about people being jerks.
