Kidde battery operated carbon monoxide alarm. Recently had house hardwired for this alarm so I no longer have a use for the one pictured. The unit is in good working condition and the batteries are included. Free shipping!

The date on the back says October 31,2009. But don't be alarmed (Sorry couldn't resist the pun) this unit was idle for the last 2 years and I put batteries in to test it and it is working fine. You should be able to get at least a couple of years of usage out of it.

I don't have the original box but instructions and care are written on the back of the alarm. You should not have a problem if you just follow what they say.
