Up for Auction now a set of Ping Irons the are Kirstin with black Dot (for 5-9-6.0 ft tall player). Thet are LEFT handed. I won these in a auction and it was not noted that they were for a lefty.Im Right Handed. They are in good condtion 2 could use new grips the other 5 have been replaced recently. It is not missing a 5 iron that how they were sold as a set. 3,4,6,7,8,9,W Free shippimg Cont U.S. only pics to come soon.

Ping Irons were 7 clubs mix/match with or without hybrids. So not missing just not odered with a 5

You can call it what you want and you can purchase just the clubs you want, why you could even order a 2 iron, 6,7,8,9, PW, SW and call it a set if you want too. But in this country a standard set is 4 thru 9 with one of the wedges. 3 has become optional since nobody can hit one anyway. Otherwise you have an M&M set.

At least not in Ping clubs of this era, which preceded hybrids being part of a set and they replace the 4 and the five.

Besides even if they were in the junk box at the pro shop listed at 10 each, that's seventy dollars, and they are worth far more than that. Re-gripped these pings will make an excellent set of clubs for some left-hander, like my son. Just buy a nice rescue club to replace the 5, easier to hit anyway.
