Description

The listing, CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE *NEW* URBAN DECAY LOOSE PIGMENT!!! has ended.

Alright, Listians, I figured I'd do things a little differently this time around. Instead of choosing myself which Urban Decay Loose Pigment to put up for grabs next, I thought I'd give the power to the lucky bidders out there and let YOU choose which color you'd like best!

The winner of this auction will receive their choice of ONE of the following pigments:

-SHATTERED: Bright aqua/blue with a frosty finish
-GRAFFITI: Bright green with a frosty finish
-PROTEST: Dark green in a charcoal base with iridescent micro glitter
-GUNMETAL: Charcoal gray with iridescent micro glitter
-ASPHYXIA: Bright fuchsia-pink with an iridescent purple shift

All of these gorgeous pigments are brand new in their original packaging. (All swatches were taken from my personal supply, none of the listed pigments have ever been tested.) They are color-intense and work great either wet or dry. When used over Urban Decay Primer Potion they last ALL day! Try a little for a sheer wash of color, or layer for bold, shimmering hues! The spill-proof tube even includes a high-quality brush, so you can either dip the brush into the color to apply, or tap out a little and apply with your own brushes. These are made from pearlized powders derived from minerals, no dyes or synthetic pigments were used. And, as always, Urban Decay does not test on animals! I am a huge fan of this product, the color payoff is absolutely fantastic and I get compliments every time I wear any of them (which is pretty much daily!)

Just to clarify, once again, the highest bidder will receive their choice of ONE pigment--you will not win not all five. I will list the remainders in other auctions when this one is complete... Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!! =o)

The prices were awesome. But they ended up selling more than they had in stock so they gave some people a $20 coupon code to make up for it. I was only missing one item and they gave me a code. :)

BTW-- How can you tell when makeup is counterfeit? You mentioned you had a problem with that.

Seriously? Wow, that's crazy!!!

Honestly, I knew that reproductions were out there, but I never personally encountered one until I started using this site. I should have been more cautious--but when I first realized I could get virtually *free* high end cosmetics on here, I was so starstruck that the possibility never even crossed my mind (and since it is against the rules, I thought I was safe)... until I won some!

To make a long story short, the auction was for MAC Liquidlast eyeliner and a MAC lipstick in the shade "Film Noir" but when I finally got them and had a chance to test them out I knew that something was waaaay off. The eyeliner applied like liquid plastic and chipped off immediately with little to no effort. The lipstick was a rosy pink shade instead of a very deep/dark reddish brown shade like it was supposed to be. The packaging itself was very off as well (so much that whoever reproduced the lipstick even misspelled the word Noir as it was labeled as "Film Nior.") Really, it was ridiculous... I contacted the seller immediately (in a friendly manner) and she was very rude to me and accused me of lying and souring her Listia experience (when I am the one who shelled out thousands of points for unusable, counterfeit cosmetics) and then she stopped communicating with me altogether. I should have reported it, but never did. I'm way too nice for my own good... Then, a few days ago I received a message from another Listian telling me that the Benefit cosmetic product I was bidding on at the time was most likely a reproduction, since she had just won a Benefit item from that same seller and it was indeed a fake... So, the point of this is: be careful what you bid on, make sure to look at photos of products closely, read the description thoroughly and ask plenty of questions!!! After my experience, I just wanted to put that little note on my auction so that my bidders aren't in doubt and KNOW that what they are getting is indeed genuine. =o)

Loose pigments are color intense powdery eye-shadows. These in particular are made by Urban Decay and they come in a very unique bottle that has an applicator brush built right in... The winner of this auction gets to choose their favorite color out of the five options shown.

Awesome! They truly are fantastic! I've been hooked ever since I tried Asphyxia for the first time... and now have at least 2 of every shade, so I figured I could stand to share a few on here. They last forever! =o)

Absolutely! Not their most recent sale, but one they had not too long ago. I honestly should have waited, because the prices were unbeatable--but I am happy they still had all my favorite shades available when I got them.

Wow. That's probably dangerous too, because who knows what they put in the makeup! There could be lead or something in there, you really have no idea. If that person is still on Listia, I would appreciate if you told me their username so I can watch out. If you want to send a private message that's ok. And is it too late for you to report them?

Exactly!!! I think it is too late, unfortunately. I should have reported it immediately, but I was trying to give the seller the benefit of doubt. Maybe she really didn't know it was fake? It's highly unlikely, I know, but I had already left positive feedback (prior to actually testing the makeup--my mistake) so I didn't think there was much that could be done. It was my word against hers and she was so adamant that I was lying (or at least playing it up that way.) I guess I could have easily sent the makeup to one of the listia moderators as proof, but I wasn't sure if they allowed that since I am fairly new to this site and really don't know how that type of thing works... Anyway, I've learned from my mistake and the next seller that tries to fool me won't be so lucky!

"Only hookers wear Urban Decay"- HAHAHAHA! Tell her "Urban Decay" is just a name, and that wearing it doesn't actually decrease property values in her neighborhood, nor does it turn you into a prostitute.

Well, it DOES turn you into a ***** for more Urban Decay--but (thankfully) not the kind you see standing on the corner.

Hi, Delores! Thanks so much for fanning, just fanned you back... To answer your question, I'd say if you like any of the colors then go for it! The pigments are quite bold, but with light application and some blending you can get a more sheer/toned down effect. Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad I could do my part to spread some awareness. =o)

Just wanted to let you know that after all this talk about the situation, I decided to look into filing a dispute--and it wasn't too late, so I just did so! We'll see how it turns out.

Delores, it depends. These colors are probably not good for work. And it depends how bold you are feeling. They are bright intense colors. My 22 year old sister says only hookers wear Urban Decay, but I think she is missing out.

Shannon, I'm glad you finally did!

Hahaha, your sister is funny. I think she is missing out, too! And thank you, I'm glad I finally did as well. I was trying to avoid the drama, but after discussing it with you and some other people, I feel that it is worth whatever headache it may or may not cause.

Personally, Asphyxia is my absolute favorite and Graffiti is a close runner up! They really are all so gorgeous though, so it really boils down to what color suits you best. =o)
