hi, have fanned and watching, why did you sell it,did you get a diff bike or just stop riding? i had a 01 vulcan 800 and loved it,was a great ride. would still have it except i had the chance to get a, indian so i did but had to sell the other to help pay for it. have a great day and enjoy. jc
Hey ,fanned you thanks for watching.i had a honda 1300 vtx for a while then sold it and got the kawasaki vulcan 1500 had it for a while but didnt like the way it rode ,felt top heavy,so got rid of it told wife i want harley fatboy next.
i hav'nt rode a fatboy, but i do know they are abit heavier, i think some of it has to do with the rake, your heightand that sorta stuff, cuz my 800 was great not top hvy and handled like a dream in the curves plus the suspension was smooth , not bumpy& no vibration to speack of. my indian vibrates and is abit stiff in the front shocks but other wise ,nice, would not trade back, but hey ,just about all have plusses and minuses, just what a guy feels good on when puttin, hope ya like the FB,ya buying new? get acouple yrs older an ya dont pay the set costs ect, but, buying new atleast once in yer lifetime, that allways feels good. keep the ruber side down an enjoy. jc
I've had several, well make that a few. It is a heavy bike. but it handles very nice. it takes a little getting use to.Last thing I would do is talk you out of it. It's a great bike. DDO
