The listing, Antique Snip tool has ended.

Please refer to pics to see the size and condition.. it is rusty on one side and not as much on the other side.. it has a piece of wound up metal that acts as a spring with a locking type mechanism. It is stamped with an oval and inside the oval I can make out the letters SAMM*** .. cannot make out the last three letters because they are worn.

I have a pruning shears just like these. I sharpen them once a year and oil them so that they don't rust. They're wonderful. Most tools 'now-a-days' are made to be disposable. These are made of good steel. Good auction for any tool collector, crafter or gardener. Cheers.

Thank you for that... I like the way they lock closed at the end. The metal just flips over and locks. They are heavy for the size. Nothing like true craftsmanship. They still open in spite of the rust. They open really easily and the spring is still strong
