I see a lot of these AT&T modem/routers up on Listia. Does AT&T not expect them back or do you have to pay for it when installed ? I know my cable provider offers a rental fee version. But I would expect they want it back. Unless you pay for it out right. Sorry if this message seems rude or confusing.

How old is the equipment??
Could you please give the model number for this AT&T equipment.
I am very seriously considering this item!! I'll have to get something in the very very near future & this seems like it would be perfect.
At&t bought cricket; so everyone had to change their phones to a phone that was compatible to at&t (also at&t phones have a sim card & cricket didn't). I pay for broadband internet service for my sons laptop monthly at cricket store on Northwest blvd until this month. They no longer accept payment at all the stores now; I either pay at store in Robstown or do all 611 customer service & pay. I was told that it wasn't for sure if they would completely do away with the broadband service, offer another type of internet service for the computers, or we would need to look elsewhere for internet service. Some I'm kind of out here in limbo. Trying not to get stuck having to pay out a fortune.
