Up for auction are 4 e cig batteries that don't seem to hold a charge. They do light up and give power as shown. Maybe they can be used for parts.

Az2CA may I ask where have bought these batteries from? If you turning tour you scewing the batteries to tight that can cause the 510 pin to not make contact with the center pin, thus making the baatery charger to not make contact with the center pin on the battery. Try getting a small thin screwdriver and gently pull the center pin very genty as you go around the center contact of the battery. I am telling you this because you say it happens all the time and you just go and buy or win another one. If my directions are enough to follow check out on YouTube and type in " Pulling the center pin" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4nCLxr0ijo check it out and see if that fixes the issues, just a helpfull tool so you don't have to keep buying batteries it's the same for the charger! let me know how it works..Sharon

Thanks so much Sharon! I am pretty sure you are right. I played around with the Ego T blue one and the little led on the charger is now flashing from red to green like it's sort of making contact. But it won't stay red and I know the battery isn't full. I thought it was my outlet or something blowing out the batteries because I have also changed out the charger too. Seems like too much a coincidence that it keeps happening. Hopefully someone can get these babies working properly again!! I need that sub ohm aspire you have up hoping I win it!!

If you attach a tank to them it will fire and you will get vapor. But when I attach to the charger, one just blinks, the others blink three times then turn off. I'm not familiar with how to fix them so I just bought new ones. Each one was working fine then one day it would just stop charging.

You so welcome sweetie I hope you win it too! And Don't worry about braking those because there are video's for taking the hole ego apart. So yeah very coincidental that all are doing that Now on the one you trying to win it is a spring loaded contact so just turn it ever so easily just until you feel snug don't bare down on it. PS When I charge any battery it does flash from red to green until it's fully charged then it will stay green.

They've been sitting in my parts drawer and I shoulda looked up troubleshooting before I listed them but oh well someone can swoop them up for cheap and then have some to practice on without worrying about breaking them. I got some new cheapy ones on here so I will definitely try and fix em myself next time. The cheap ones don't last that long I found but it's nice to have when I'm hiking and stuff cause they're light weight and not bulky.
