The listing, Antique Victorian Milkglass Easter Egg Horseshoe Good Luck has ended.
This vintage victorian milkglass easter egg once was highly decorated. Unfortunately it has lost the paint. The last picture I am showing is just to show you how it once looked.
The word “Easter” is embossed on the egg along with the good luck horseshoe. They originally were in gold and had hand-painted pink flowers and green leaves. This is a large egg measuring 4 12” long x 3” wide.
Mouth-blown glass eggs such as this one will have a point at one end, called a pontil, which signifies its handmade authenticity. See picture. It also has a flat bottom so it sits well.
Even though it is missing the decorative coloring, it is in excellent condition and still highly collectible for Victorian age.
