The listing, America's First Medals General Nathaniel Greene has ended.

Here up for bids is an America's First Medals medal of General Nathaniel Greene. The "Americas First Medals" series was issued from the United States Mint beginning back in 1973/1974. They were sold in groups of two and were intended to honor the memory of the first medals approved by the Continental Congress for presentation to members of the military of notable distinction. The medals originally were presented in gold and silver. The reproduction medals were struck in pewter and measured approx. 1 & 1/2 inches in diameter. The presentation of the pewter reproductions of the first medals voted by the Continental Congress took place at the White House. The medals, originally struck in gold and silver, were awarded in recognition of the bold commanders and successful Revolutionary War battles that won for a new nation its freedom from foreign domination. "General Nathaniel Greene" Coin-Type Medal, Reproduction, Pewter, US Mint, With Display Box. This was the ninth in the US Mint's 10-piece series of pewter reproductions of America's first medals. the medal is mounted into a double sided flip-up panel so both sides can be viewed. Includes a small informative booklet.

Go to coin shop they have these everywhere. And if you ever want to sell them you get $1 or $2 dollars each. Good luck with your auction and anyone wanting to collect metals. They don't appreciate in value at all.
