Flat Rate boxes are not always the best way to ship! The postal service makes more money that way and sometimes, covering a box such as this with brown paper bag or brown wrapping paper is the best way to ship; cause you're not adding much extra weight [that is, of the shipping materials - tape and paper rather than a box].

hI. jUST A SUGGESTION. There are times UPS would be cheaper. If you know the exact measurements and weight, go to UPS.COM and they will tell you the cost and even schedule a pick up at your house. I did this twice because the post office was to high. Hope this helps you. Fanned You too.

If you buy the postage online through paypal, the confirmation number is cheap, also Priority and express paid for using USPS click and ship gets a free tracking number. Parcel post almost never uses tracking.
