on second look with glasses It may not be 1924. I m 63 years old and am question the date.

had so had my son look at it. He says it not a 1924 nickel but a 1928. Sorry.

That's ok, I know the feeling. The mint marks are on the buffalo side underneath the "Five Cents" at the bottom. Sometimes they are pretty hard to see too.
