This is a vintage rosary hand carved from olive wood in Bethlehem. Late 60's era. On the small side, the area of decades measures 19" and it has a 4" drop. The beads are approx 1/4" and being hand carved , they are not identical. There is a very nice assortment of wood grain & tones. It's been finished nice and smooth to the touch. The cross is approx. 1 7/8 x 6/8. It has a beautiful grain, is very smooth, & has Bethlehem stamped on one side like most olive wood rosaries from this time period. I believe that is something that is still done today. It's strung on nylon cord and is very well done there are no issues with unraveling anywhere. This rosary feels good in my hand. There is a comforting aurora associated with it. Kind of like a familiar warm hug. I don't know how to explain it better than that. I guess you'll either get it or not. Lol I hope you get it. This is a lovely keepsake.
