The listing, 1937 RMS (RailRoad Mail Service) Duplex has ended.
There's a LOT going on with this old cover!
A very nice old cover stamped SPECIAL DELIVER
plus: FEE CLAIMED AT COLUMBUS, MISS
And, this is on Postal Stationary as you can see beside the two connected pair of the blue five cent Roosevelt, is the dark blue / purple Washington meaning this was printed on the envelope. Guessing the additional 10 cents was the "special delivery" fee.
Also, the back side has an awesome RMS duplex cancel, plus another postmark stating it was REC'D!
And... Notice the CHI. & N.O. SD that states that it was CHI (Chicago) & N.O. (New Orleans) S.D. (Southern District)
A nice duplex cancel. "RMS" = Railway Mail Service, the later designation to "RPO" (Railway Post office).
Wow!
