Here is their answer on 8-19-14 to the question, "Why should I choose a Restaurant.com e-Gift Card?":

Also, e-Gift cards / certificates do not expire and are an easy gift for you to give because you can save up to 50% or more off the face value!

When you have a Gift Card or e-Gift Card to Restaurant.com, it can be redeemed for a Restaurant Certificate of the same value. You are not purchasing a new certificate; you are redeeming a Gift Card for a Restaurant Certificate at the same face value. For example, if you have a $50 Restaurant.com e-Gift Card, you can redeem it for a $50 Restaurant Certificate, two $25 Restaurant Certificates, or five $10 Restaurant Certificates.

just a heads up..
I just had a dispute get refunded for a similar card like this.. if it goes into dispute, or gets flagged, then it will get refunded by the admin...

After further discussion with other Admins we have determined this item is against our rules. If an item is listed for a certain dollar amount the item must be that true value. Since it is not I will have to refund the credits to the Winner.

To make sure you get the most bids and credits from your listings, please add more information about your item. Is this a card to be used directly on the website (restaurant.com) or to be used in the restaurants, please clarify.

@crushfresh, the card you had a dispute over was a different type of card than this.

No because the only way to get 25 off is if you spend 40 bucks you can't just spend the 25

Sorry, but that is not correct mrsbethea. You can redeem the $25 for full face value on restaurant.com. If you have a $25 e-gift card you may purchase a $25 restaurant certificate or a couple of $10 ones, etc. The balance stays in your account and does not expire. There is no minimum purchase required.

My pleasure Jan251 and welcome to the site. I had the same negative comments listed on a similar auction that I had which ended earlier tonight. I feel that they definitely impacted the outcome of that auction. If I had had similar comments to make I would have done them via private messaging. Once they are made publicly it is very difficult to undo the damage, even when the information is wrong.
