@tonymatson7 these are clad or "plated" in real gold. the weight of the bar is usually made by using brass or another base metal. the gold is 100% real. just not a lot of it. these are mainly bought by collectors for the collectable aspect. this is an absolutely beautiful bar and worth the bids.
