Description

The listing, 1918 Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar has ended.

This auction is for a 1918 Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar with no mint mark.
The scans above are of the actual coin that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am starting this off at a low amount and will allow for you to determine what you think it is worth.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

** I am now forced to add a rider to all of my descriptions stating:
I will ship out your item on the next available day after auction end, first class with tracking, but can no longer promise when your item will arrive. The USPS has become extremely unreliable and there is no other alternative that is cost effective to allow for your item to show up in a timely manner.
I always offer Free Shipping W/Tracking and if you wish to make sure to receive your item within 2 - 3 days, you will need to let me know and pay for either Priority Mail, or UPS service.
I do keep tabs on the tracking and will keep you up to date as to the status, but ever since the first of this year the majority of the items sent have taken far too long to arrive at their destinations, while a few of them have made it within 3 -4 days. Please understand that I have no control over the package, whatsoever, after I drop it at the post office. Thank you in advance for your understanding. **

I just read the rest of the description. Sorry I missed that. I grade coins by looking at the coin...that is what I do for a living;) I guess happy bidding on this one!

you should be a little more careful then, if I were to mention that after I scanned the coin it fell into the disposer and the scanner no longer worked, you would have been upset when you received it but not a leg to stand on. that is just 1 stupid reason that I do not believe more people do not read the descriptions. thanks.

I would say that now that there is a bid, I can no longer add a GIN. but you could just go read the description to see that I was not waiting for a bid to turn down any GIN.

all of that was nothing against you nor criticism. the use of "a stupid reason" was meaning a stupid reason that I came up with, and now maybe you can see that I prefer to use more than a one word answer or reply to any question and/or comment placed on my auctions. thank you for your initial interest and have a great day yourself.

F&W And I took the time to read your auction...lol. It is frustration when people don't read isn't it?

yes, frustration would be the perfect word for that. A lot of time and effort gets put into the description to cover different things about the auction. #1 is to address any faults or reason for concern pertaining to the item so that there will be no surprises at the end, and #2 would be to try and answer any questions that may arise during the auction. Now, lately I have had to add a new section in all of my descriptions to forewarn all bidders about the delivery times that the post office takes to make deliveries, but it is more for my protection when the winner does not receive their item within a week of being sent and decide to start a dispute.
P.S. : I am sure that kimmeh08 is now thinking that I could have just said "Yes" :)
