The listing, Cold War Era East German? Field Engineers Bag/ Courier/Map -CooL has ended.

Vintage- 1960's-1970's East German or other Eastern European Soviet Block Nation State Messenger/ Field Engineer Bag.
All Leather but in good condition. A bit dry maybe but not bad.
Measures 10.5" long by 8.25" across. Has 2 inside pockets. Very long strap and just about fully adjustable on the length and options. As shown the length is about 50" with a 14" fold over. Cross Body or regular.
I honestly no next to nothing about this bag but in some research feel confident this isn't Swedish or Swiss, American or Venezuelan. It does appear to be East German manufactured but could have been used in any of the Soviet Block Nations?
Only available for comments 1 hour per day Monday thru Friday. I personally think this would make a very CooL handbag although it is thin.

As I looked at the photos, a thought struck me that perhaps it was to be strapped to a Horse? No Coffee yet, so maybe I'm totally off in left field~~ Love it anyway & I will be bidding~~ Disappointed I had to sleep & missed out on your Gorgeous Marcasite earrings!
