This is for a septum piercing. Not a regular nostril piercing. If she has her septum pierced than she will have to wait a recommended few months before changing her jewelry.

I would say the bar is slightly wider...i have my septum pierced and as long as its not a cartilage piercing you should have no problems wearing it.
