Stephen King's "It" is two-part horror television miniseries -- 192 minutes, or over 3 hours -- based on the novel of the same name. I watched this several times and this is the movie that makes people scared of clowns. The story revolves around an evil entity who is able to adapt its appearance in order to exploit the fears and phobias of its victims. The British magazine Radio Times held a survey for the scariest program aired on television, in which "It" came first. The X-Files came second. What can I say: Stephen King...

This is so much fun... I asked friends for creepy clown candidate movies and other than what is already here they said 1987 Rob Zombie's "Halloween," 1980 "Demonic Toys" and 1970 "The Devil's Rejects." Never saw any of those but I will now.

This is the scariest clown I've ever seen in the movies, with No. 2 being the stuffed clown that pulls the kid under the bed in Poltergeist.

Iam with scotty5. I watched this when I was really young and it gave me the hebe gebies. And that dang gone poltergeist, i would jump into bed to keep away from the bottom. LOL :()

Believe it or not but I subjected my daughter to all of this creepy stuff that I liked when I was a kid and finally she does, too. She now picks my movies. Her favorite is anything by Tim Burton, with my latest swap being "Corpse Bride." That kind of creeped me out. But, anyhow, rock on, scarry movie people.
