Used only short period of time. No box.
Had been stored immediately after unhooking it from computer into ziplock bag.
Web cam, power supply and installation cd.
My son used it to communicate with his father in the military overseas.

I do not know about the microphone.... Where would it be if there's one on it. I'm "electronically challenged"!!!!

Were you speaking through the computer or the webcam when you communicated overseas? If it has a microphone, There should be some evidence... perhaps a slotted or screened area? Is there a model #? We could look up the specs to it.

My son said NO it does NOT have a microphone on it. I never said it did. I did not know whether it did or didn't...... I don't encourage all the electronic gadgetry out there in society these days because so much of it is designed to eleviate human interaction. I am looking at the CD and it does have a title: QuickCam v11.7 if that helps anyone.....???? Sorry for any misunderstandings.
