Description

The listing, (WORKING) BELIEVED TO BE ANTIQUE BENRUS WATCH has ended.

Up for auction/gin:

uncertain of date exactly believed to be antique or vintage benrus luxury watch.

the face plate has benrus on it and on the bottom of the face plate it has numbers 1203 318

the backing has a triangle with a dot in the middle, also has writting base metal bezel
st steel back.

besides the backing looking like steel the rest of the face of the watch seems like a different material

there are markings on the watch band/clasp areas but its to small for me to identify what they are so when it comes to material i cannot give you a exact idea on what the metal is.

there are 4 small diamond like stones on the watch on top 2 and bottom 2 that i did test came up diamonds now they are small and close to metal so im not sure if that affected the reading or not, i know i didn't touch the metal and they came up to be diamond, so im going to say its about 50/50 chance they are

again i tried researching this watch and couldnt find a exact match per say and seen some brands like it that are antique to vintage

again i believe its antique or it could be vintage

also besides what i mention is written on it, i do not know the exact metals of this watch cause i couldnt determine what some of the markings are that are to small for my eyes to see

also the 4 small stones on it, did come up to be diamonds as shown in the picture above when tested

this is a wind up watch, and wish not to mess with it in any manner and risk damaging the item. took it to a jeweler and had them look at it, it is working and is a wind up watch..

please note: that the description is given to the best of my knowledge and that bid winner/ gin buyer undertstands this and all sales are final and credits will not be refunded for any manner of reason

this would be a great collector piece or etc

good luck bidders or gin buyer

i only ship within the us only

Gosh. It's beautiful. I understand your not wanting to test it, but it's tough to bid over 50,000 credits if it may be a non-working watch. Good luck!

Only reason I wish not to, is cause if it is or isn't, and I tinker with it, and could possibly damage something that maybe the easiest fix if it isn't, and if it is just fine Great...That's why I pointed it out in the description I wish not to mess with it. Still it is still a very beautiful and old watch and collector or person would love to have.

That's all diamond tester, I tested the small melee stones and they came up diamond, if they are good chance cause that's what it said, im not sure if me being close to the metal affected its reading or not, I know I didn't touch the metal. so chances they are, are about 50/50

Thank you and my tester, goes from a green to red zone, green and yellow meaning its close to a diamond but its not, red zone meaning it is diamond, my tester doesn't just show 1 light it lights up the whole bar not just green, yellow or red, so if its green and yellow its not diamond if it reaches red zone it comes up as diamond, sounds confusing but I figured it out when I called the MFG. lol, but thank you and good luck

LOL. yes it is a beautiful watch, I didn't want to tinker with it at first but i'd figure I take it to a jeweler to see if it was working, he did something with the dial and put it up to my ear and it was just ticking away...
