Its pretty fun, if you have a smartphone, I would suggest the C:Geo app. It shows you the caches near you. Its pretty nice to have when you're bored out of your mind with nothing to do :)

I find any number of things, it's jokingly described as "Using multi-million dollar military equipment to find Tupperware in the middle of the woods."
To date I have found caches that have been as small as a personal pill key fob and as large as an ammunition box.

Give it a shot :) Worst thing that can happen is you don't find it. Make sure you bring something small and tradeable (No smellables...) and trade it for something in the cache :)

If you want. Normally it's just keychains or little toys like a Hot Wheels car, but I have seen a nice looking bracelet and a cup thermos (still had coca-cola in it...)
