In the second picture it kind of looks like there's something sticky around the bottom of the ring or that there is some of the gold color is faded? I also noticed there isn't a photo of the 10k stamp....does it just need to be cleaned? Or do you know for a fact it's solid 10k?

Why does it look as though the "GOLD" Has worn off around the edges of the ring? REAL gold doesn't do that....no matter how many years old it is.
