I checked in the Official Coin BLUE BOOK, Beautiful coin appears in XF condition, with arrows and rays round. It is the only year where rays round appear. He has arrows in his talons as well on the obverse (front) side. Notice the date, there are 2 arrows coming from the date, one to the right and the other to the left. In an MS-60 Condition which is uncirculated and is worth about $800, and in an MS-63 Condition, it is worth about $1400. In the Official RED BOOK, the price is a little higher in MS-63 condition, which is $2000. Best Wishes and good luck with your auction, With kindest regards, jcmath1
WOW..... I haven't looked at a Blue Book in years, I have a hard enough time winning coins on here using Red Book, They usually go from 1.5 to 2 Times Red Book value. I usually just sit here and shake my head in amazement.
Very nice. Harder to find seated liberties above VG. Judging by grade (VF20) this looks to be about a $50 quarter. Too bad this one isn't the Recut Dt with no rays or arrows. That one is worth about $800 in VF20. I love the seated liberty series. Definitely watching!
