The listing, Antique 1905 Hospital Bill with Stamp has ended.

Antique bill from Sanatorium dated 5-8-1905, I am going to guess from the names on the heading , it was german
Sanatorium during that time , was name for hospital, beautiful stamp on the document to boot. Document is not stained and is excellent condition for an item over 100 years old.

Sanatorium Wienerwald

The "Sanatorium Wienerwald" was founded 1904 as a sanatorium for consumptives. It became quite famouse in the 1920ies and 1930ies(Franz Kafka was a patient in 1924). 1938 it was arianised by the Nazis and became a maternity clinic for the SS-"Lebensborn". After the war ist was taken over by the Austrian Labour Union, rebuilt und used until the mid 1980ies, then it was transformed into a hotel wich was closed 2002.
